The Big Weekend 2016

Having done the Big Weekend last year, with Slade and Heather Small, I was so excited to play again this year. This year I was supporting Boney M and Dario G. The number of people out in front of me was monumental and the atmosphere was electric. I was standing back stage waiting to come on, and producer Josh from Heart Radio announced me and as I walked on stage all I could see in front of me was a lake of people and a huge roar from the crowd. I don't usually get nervous but it took my breath away for a few seconds. I started my set with 'Come Together', and people were up dancing and singing along within seconds, and this trend continued right through my 45 minute set.

I included a song by Syd Barrett (Co-Founder of Pink Floyd), entitled 'Baby Lemonade, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his death, and I was so happy about how well it went down. I saw people sing every line of the song and that was so lovely to see.
