    International Festival, Milton Keynes 2018

    I was in MK today for a festival ran by The Stables, Wavendon. I thought this was a fitting place to throw in a lot of my own material, playing about half covers half originals, for 45 minutes. Having debuted two new songs the night before at Cheqfest, I was pretty confident about playing them that afternoon, and they went down well; so it took some pressure off the gig I've got on Thursday, in Canary Wharf.     Cheqfest 2018

    Back for my 3rd Cheqfest: as always it hammered it down with the rain, but, as always it didn't get in the way of a good time. I squeezed in a 15 minute set of original material before the raffle, and ended up playing a 30 minute encore, so really really enjoyed the night. Hope the weather sorts it self out next time!

    Jubilee Park - Canary Wharf

    Although it was late notice, I happened to have the Thursday off to play in Jubilee Park to help advertise my show the following week. I ended up playing for 3 hours to the people of Canary Wharf in the summer sun from 12 till 3. I've been working on my Red Hot Chili Peppers and my Stone Roses recently, and it was nice having a lot of time to play, because you can experiment more and play around and try out new songs, instead of trying to make sure the show is tight.
