Cambridge Buskers and Street Performers Festival Week

For me, the 'Buskers Festival' began on Wednesday, when I had a short interview at Cambridge 105fm radio station to discuss the event. I also played 2 of my own songs live.

The event officially began on Friday, and I played at the Opening Ceremony, a clip of me playing at the ceremony featured on ITV News that evening.

During the Buskers FestivaI I had already been booked to perform at the Cancer Research UK event in the Grand Arcade which raised £815! This gave me an opportunity to dry my kit out as I'd got absolutely drenched.

On Sunday I took part in Greg Butler's radio show on Cambridge 105fm, and then went back to Bedford where I performed at the Devonshire Arms in the late afternoon.

I was told I had won the Cambridge Buskers Festival competition for the second year running on Monday, and was mentioned in the Cambridge News paper for recieving the accolade again. I would like to thank everyone who voted, and everyone who took their time to watch me over the festival.

As a part of the prize from winning the competition I will be performing at the Cambridge 'Big Weekend' Festival - timings TBC. (As far as I know I will be playing on the Main Stage on Friday and Saturday)

Congratulations to the international winners: Budapest Marionettes

Big thanks to 'Cambuskers' who organised this huge event. It ran over 3 days from 10:00AM - 5:00pm, with nearly 100 artists involved and had amazing media coverage featuring on the TV - ITV Anglia News, Radio - Cambridge 105fm and the paper - Cambridge News.
