Wedding in Solihull

I was booked to start performing for Beth and Sean's wedding at 14:30, as guests arrived, and another set at 18:00 after the speeches. Everything went pretty well, despite having a few issues with my throat recently, and once my set ended I packed up and was ready to leave the venue.

A band were on after me, who started not long after I'd finished. Within 2 or 3 songs, the whole wedding had a power cut, and as the band were relying on electrics, everyone was without music.

I was asked by Beth if I could grab an acoustic guitar and play some tunes while we waited for the power to come back on, along with the singer of the band accompanying me on the acoustic drum kit they had. Everyone came back onto the floor to sing and dance. We played all the usual stuff I play, Beatles, Oasis, Queen, and added some new songs like Mr Brightside and Livin' On A Prayer.

Would like to thank Dave who I played along side with for accompanying me so well. Not easy to drum along with someone you're not used to, so just shows how brilliant he is.
